I cant type the passaword in the terminal

I installed UmbrelOS on my device, and when I logged in for the first time, it asked for a username and password. After researching, I discovered that the default username and password are: Umbrel, Umbrel.

But when I type in my username and press Enter, it starts asking for my password, and when I try to enter the password, I can’t. I’ve tried using an external keyboard to try to enter the password, and it still didn’t work.

you will not see anything when typing password in terminal. You just type and hit enter when over. But you will not see any * character or whatever.

Is that the question?

default username and password are: Umbrel, Umbrel.

both lower case: umbrel umbrel

I change umbrel’s and root password after that using the passwd command at the terminal.
