How do you trust them going forward? Umbrel 1.0 seems like a big mess.

It was the same on my rapsi 5. I installed umbrel 1.0. Then created an account and installed the update 1.0.0. After restarting I had to create a new account again and it works fine. Sync in Bitcoin Node 90% in 30 hours around.
