How to start Umbrel with no apps auto-starting?

Hi all,

How to start Umbrel system only, with no apps auto-starting? I just want them all to be in Stopped status after Umbrel rebooting and be able to start them separately later, up to my choice, when the system itself is up and running. Is that possible?

I think a better solution would be:

  • on reboot only start what was started
  • keep stopped what was stopped

I have this problem where i have many apps installed but only 5 started,
everytime I reboot, they all just start… :frowning:

Any help or idea how to resolve this?
im running umbrelOS 1.4.2

That would also work for me although I think it might be slightly more complicated (need to store the last state of every app and then start it or not accordingly). So I’d be just happy with much simpler option: everything off at boot - that would be just one flag to follow. I even suspect it may already be there, but I’m not that techy to find it myself. Cause yeah, this heavy load for several minutes when starting everything after reboot is really quite annoying, especially if one have quite limited hw resources.
Any dev might help here maybe?
