Hi - I’m also trying to install chantools but get an error with this too, can you help? I really appreciate your help BTW. I run a Windows 10 PC.

That is a scam/spam telegram account please ignore it- unfortunately we cannot do anything about them.
We will need to use chantools from here I believe. By any chance, do you know the people that run the nodes of the remaining channels you have? This can make the process easier
Hi - I got 2 of the 4 channels to force close on their side. I see the channel activity on Amboss but those channels don’t appear in my node channel list as I can’t load any backup, just gives an error. What next? Will funds arrive in my node wallet?

I was able to contact 2 node owners and they closed their channels. I’m trying to install/run chantools and it just won’t work. Can you please walk me through the process to 1) install chantools in umbrel, 2) recover funds from closed channels (ie., do I need to create a fake backup, if so, how? How exactly do I call the sweep command? I’m reading the chantools documentation but having a very hard time trying to interpret it.

Hi - what exactly is the process for installing the backups? I might be doing it wrong. I’m hoping I can then close this channel where the other node is dead, it’s Tor so chantools doesn’t work
