Hi, Had a similar issue on old HP but your latest BIOS which ist 2011 might not have uefi Option to boot - it should appear when ‘secure boot’ is possible to Set to enabled.
Other prob:
usb boot from uefi or legacy or both can be enabled with f5 If youbsee IT in grey. If yout hard Disk is gpt Style I think Bootstick should also bei -you can Change this Partition Style with Partition Magic, or Rufus when Making a new Bootstick… For me this helped…
Couldn’t boot in legacy Mode because secure Mode could not be disabled…So it booted with uefi when USB uefi got enabled… In my Case Harddisk and boot Stick mbr formated use 1tb only…
