Fresh Install Ver 0.5.3 and can't get any app to download

RPi4, 64gig MicroSD, 2TB SSD, Umbrel Version 0.5.3 flashed

I just completed a Raspberry Pi4 Umbrel build and cannot get any apps to download.
Hardwire ethernet connection, no connection issues with other devices on same network.

  1. I pulled the micro sd card and reflashed Ver 0.5.3 - no change in status
  2. I ssh’d in and reverted the OS to Ver 0.5.2 - no change in status other than “update available” on dashboard
  3. I “dmz’d” my Umbrel IP address - no change in status
  4. I do not have MAC filtering turned on in my router

Getting this error from Karen:
ERROR: for app_proxy net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)

Is the app store offline?
How do I test my external node connection to the internet?

Are there any ports that need to be opened on my router? running out of things to check - still cannot download any apps.

Pi seems to be running ok, ethernet lights are on and blink when I ping it from my router, ssd light blinks when I log on.

Has the 5.3 update “bricked” something?

I have the same issue.

I’m starting a new install of umbrel v0.5.3 as I lost and could not restore the update ability on the GUI. I’ll update when able.

Started from scratch on umbrel 5.3. The Bitcoin node is downloaded Core 24.0.0 and synchronizing the Blockchain now.

12/17 For reasons unknown… my umbrel began working tonight. I logged in and was able to download apps and now have Bitcoin Node re-syncing.
