The node is very slow and moving at a similar pace to the bitcoin block chain so I cant catch up. Is there a way to speed this up?

i see several blocks every couple of minutes there.
like 11 in 3 minutes. hard to count on this screen right now.
its only going to get slower as it reaches the end.
But the update is still at the 94-95% range since then. Please advise on how to resolve this. Thanks! See updated log below-
