I’m trying to sync my Bitcoin node but it’s too slow. Just 1% a day. What is the problem? I have a rapsberry pi 4, 2Tb, a good intrrnet and can’t dync.
Check the following log file to see if there are any errors:
/data/umbrel-os/home/umbrel/umbrel/app-data/bitcoin/data/bitcoin/debug.log
Are there any other apps installed on Umbrel? They might be using resources.
Is it HDD or SSD? HDD is slow.
Also check the journal logs to see what else could be using resources:
sudo journalctl -p 4
Also try removing the -p flag from the command and maybe you’ll get relevant info. You could also try with -p with other numbers (3 or 5).
You basically need to look for some service that’s using the machine a lot or maybe generating a lot of errors to log file.

Do you have a bunch of other apps running. I had a similar syncing issue and had to delete some non bitcoin apps because one of the apps had a memory leak.
I think I am having the same issue as well (long ongoing)…The only apps I have on mine are Ordinals (which I don’t use) and Lightning (which I also don’t use)
I don’t think mine is syncing at all because I have 0 peers and the percentage is going backwards (I assume as the blockchain gets larger without me)
Sync BTC node take about one mounth over…
