Bitcoin Core 29.0.0 super slow IBD

My 2020 era 4GB Ras Pi4 needed a re-index. It has a 1TB drive. I’m on day 9 of IBD and this is all I have. My internet connection is 800 Mbps. Yes, my hardware isn’t great… but damn, this is wildly slow. Yes, I usually have 4-10 peers connected. Anyone else experiencing this?

Any IDB tweaks recommended to speed this up?

happening here also. slows after 50-60% then less than a percent per day. Tried many formats and reinstall. Was not happening before the ressource intense laggy and useless UI. Wish we had the simple choice to forgo the UI and also choose core version to run.
