have uninstalled Mempool and then restarted umbrel. If i try to reinstall the app shows “not running” instead of Install
Any ideas?
What’s your hardware configuration? Does the icon show up on the desktop? It’s not Windows. 
Of course, you are running the dependencies fully synced? If not wait for them to be synced and then restart mempool. This is just my first thought. Tell me more about how things are going on your node.

IPC enable on Bitcoin core app?
I don’t know if activating Stratum V2 and IPC on the Umbrel node caused this. I’ll calmly disable the IPC option on the Bitcoin Core node and see if that was the problem.
Stopped working all of the sudden, restart doesn’t help, Bitcoin Core and Electrs are working fine. Really weird. What’s going on?
i’m running into the same issue. the mempool api is continually crashing and restarting. i uninstalled and reinstalled the app. it says that we are on v3.3.1-hotfix-1 for this very issue, but when i SSH and ask which version it says i’m on v3.3.1.
Notes:
- Umbrel Mempool app version: 3.3.1-hotfix-1
- Backend image: mempool/backend:v3.3.1
- Issue: mempool_api_1 repeatedly restarts/crash-loops
- Error: FATAL ERROR: Reached heap limit Allocation failed - JavaScript heap out of memory
- System: Raspberry Pi 5, 8GB RAM
- Available memory: ~2.4 GiB
- Bitcoin Core is synced and seeing new blocks
- Mempool web loads but confirmed blocks fall behind and Upcoming Blocks stops updating
- Temporarily disappeared after uninstalling/reinstalling Mempool, then returned within about a day
