Hi there Iām trying to open a LN channel from my node to you. But every address I click on from your link gives me the message ācheck lightning addressā and it fails to open the channel.
Iām using my umbrel lightning node.

I use the lightning node app from umbrel ( called LND)

Try it with RTL. The app is also available in the Umbrel Appstore. With RTL you can first open a peer to this node. If this does not work, this node is straight offline. If you then open a peer, you can open a channel directly.

Yes I still canāt connect. I clicked on the link you provided which took me to your page. But to make you a peer using RTL it requires an alias ( Node Up or Shut up) and a lightning address, which I canāt find, as everything I put in was rejected as not being a proper lightning address.

Regarding the RTL app, do you happen to know how to back it up? ( seed phrase etc) in case of crash?
The LND lightning app makes this seed easy to find but I cannot find anyway to do this in the RTL app.

I donāt know exactly what you mean. On the left side, under Lightning, youāll find the option to create a backup.
