Anybody have thoughts what upper limit on # of channels (Umbrel on Raspberry Pi) might be?
I imagine each channel increases system resources used for processes, so things could choke past a certain point. (1000 channels? 200 channels? not sure).
If true, how might one estimate the limit?
All depends on how many of those 1000 channels will route in the same time.
I don’t think it will matter and there’s no limitation in LND documentation
I doubt that right now you will be able to route with all 1000 channels at once.
The numbers of channels do not affect the performance of your node.
