Hi Guys,
just installed umbrell from the usb drive installer on my Lenovo barebone on an 1.8T sda ssd and made a reboot.
I’m new to umbrel and have no idea what’s going on here.
Can someone support me, how to fix the attached issue?

Hey @satoshidude,
Welcome to the Umbrel Community! Could you just confirm a few things with me:
It does look as if something must’ve gone wrong during the installation and the system can’t mount the drive for one reason or another - which hopefully we can get to the bottom of.
hi Alex,
thank for your fast reply.
i have a ThinkCentre M910q, with i5, 64GB Ram and 2 SSDs.
The show up on umbrelOS installer - for sure the latest version of amd64 1.2.1
Bootmode is UEFI only.
I found the solution!
sda was the sata1 ssh and not the needed M.2 under sdb.
Now aim into umbrel and can go further.
Ok, it seems to be more complicated as i thougth.
From the dashboard i tryed to install some apps, but the didnt. I think its a storage issue, but have no idea why i have only 128MB.
what is the root password, to have a look into this blackbox? moneyprintergobrrr doesnt work.
Finally, I’ve seen it again! The old 128mb thing. Hey @satoshidude this seems to be “common” enough. So specifically to your issue I think I have some fixes for this I want to see how it works for others.
First, can you list your disks with
lsblk
You should see sda > sda4 appear with 128mb hopefully? If you have other drives installed it may have moved, but specifically find your storage drive that is showing 128mb and try it.
Try to run resize2fs command on it, and please follow up with the results.
sudo resize2fs /dev/sda4
I have also heard that on system reboots this issue resolves itself but I’d prefer to make sure this is a resize2fs thing after install.
yes, it appeard as sda8. i formated the whole drive and restartet. after that i got nearly 2TB for my node!
to bad - my M.2 ssd is complete oversized now. will have a look for a smaller one for the root system. 128GB should be enough, or?
After formatting the /home drive everything include the “root” password needed to setup again.
can u link a tutorial for a best practice backup soultion for the umbrel distri?
