Using Proxmox hypervisor 7.3.3. Used Umbrel on Ubuntu for years. I’ve read and followed the guides to update from Umbrel 0.5 on Linux VM to UmbrelOS. I made the tarball of the contents of the Umbrel directory in v0.5, deployed UmbrelOS to a new Proxmox VM, unzipped the tarball to mounted storage (via /etc/fstab) at /home/umbrel/umbrel/import/umbrel. The file update-status.json indicates the upgrade failed. When I access umbrel.local, it invites me to create an account. I can’t find any relevant entries in the journalctl system logs.
Can I just execute the upgrade manually? Is there a workflow somewhere for what UmbrelOS 1.0+ files need to be overwritten with the 0.5 versions, etc.?
If not execute manually, can I at least initiate the update manually?
Other guidance? Been hacking away at this upgrade for 15 hours and counting.
