Any news from developers on the https issue? Its been and ongoing question for years, should be solved now, if ever?

The only news I’ve seen is when the 1.0 ad dropped they stated that it’s soon on the docket. However, I feel like they’ve been saying soon for a while so as far as when it’s actually going to be implemented? no idea.

I have the same problem here… I try to create an account for vaultwarden and it is impossible, error because HTTPS is required. and it is not the only app in which this error appears.

I ran into issues with Urbit, where certain apps do only allow https connections… So huge +1 for this

FYI for everyone is this thread. We now have Cloudflare in the app-store which allows you to make apps accessible behind a public domain.

True, but for some apps are still needed https locally, even Cloudflare doing the tunneling.
