You are correct with how it’s supposed to work; you send funds on lightning though one of your channels (in this case the one to ACINQ) to the LOOP node and they send you the funds back (minus a fee) to your onchain wallet. I think the “Node not found” just a bug where it doesn’t recognize LOOP was the final destination and it looks like your transaction to LOOP did go though. In Thunderhub, can you check your Chain transactions to see if you received a similar sized amount at the same time?
