Cannot access Umbrell via SSH [Solved]

Hi,

I recently installed UmbrelOS 1.4.2 on a small PC I had and it seems quite promising.

As I would access to a NAS via Umbrel, I need to connect via SSH and mount the NAS.

However, I cannot figure how to do it. Access is denied when I try “ssh username@umbrel.local” and provide my umbrel password.

Is there some ‘root’ user and password that I would provide? Do I have to activate some function on the UmbrelOS itself in order to allow SSH?

Got it…

The answer is: ssh umbrel@umbrel.local, with the username defined at the installation.

Once you are in as the Umbrel UID … to get root level authority … you prefix your commands with sudo and provide your Password that you configured at UmbrelOS Setup.
