I want to back up my app data but I can only find my Downloads folder. I am guessing thats all it can while Docker is running. I am running Umbrel on my PowerSpec B249 Desktop Computer.
Is there a work around or is this not the backup solution we were promised?
This thread covers some backup solutions using duplicati to backup the /home directory backing up your entire machine. Umbrel is working on a proper 1st party backup solution at the moment we will just need to be patient.
Yeah that is what I figured. I have my own method outside of Umbrel to back up my data. It ust sucks I have to set everything back up after an update. I was hopeful this was their solution, but I am ok with waiting. Just getting a bit ancy.

thanks for your motivation. is there a hint to backup home assistant backups? i cant select the folders off the installation e.g home assistant or other installations. Or is there a hack, that i can copy the ha backupfiles to a shared folder, where duplicati has a access to?
