# Whirlpool Desktop --- Authentication failed: Technical error, check logs for details

Hello,

New Umbrel user here. Samourai user for some time.

I installed Umbrel, get a Bitcoin node, Electrs, and Samourai server (Dojo).

Dojo maintainance tool: all green ticks.

I’m trying to connect Whirlpool desktop to Samourai server. CLI, Tor and Dojo are connected.  
However, when I type my passphrase in to authenticate, I always get “Authentication failed: Technical error, check logs for details”. It’s been like this for days.

Any suggestion how to solve the issue?
