# Umbrel not installing in previous umbrel folder

If you are trying to install like new and there was already an Umbrel directory just run the delete command in terminal:

`rm ~/umbrel/`

To delete any other Umbrel directory previously created and rerun the installation command

(Disclaimer: this deletes any existing installation)
