# Umbrel never stops synchronize

Hi everyone,

my Umbrel node took 3 days to download the whole blockchain.  
Since it reached 100% now it keeps sync in loop from 99.9% till it reach 100% again and then again it starts from 99.9 (around block 717.000) in loop.

Also I can’t open a Lighting channel because it says “Unable to connect to peer, server is still in the process of starting” (here attachment).

It is now many days with this issue. After multiple system reboots, process restarts, nothing changed.

Does someone have any idea on this issue?

Go to Umbrel dashboard - settings and run the debug log. See there what is going on
