# Specter Desktop not connecting to Umbrel Node

Hello title is pretty straightforward

When I go to “connect wallet” in umbrel and select “specter desktop” I follow the instructions and copy/paste the fields on the connect wallet page but I keep getting an error in Specter saying:

“Test failed: Connection to the node failed”

Any ideas? Thanks!
