# Settings to speed up Fulcrum sync

I’ve synced fulcrum a while back on (not on umbrel) there was dm\_mem setting that would speed it up a lot.
Today my fulcrum went from 70 to 73% in about 24h.
I think this setting should be exposed somewhere or be set dynamically based on ram available.
I have it on a 32gb machine and I suspect it’s using the 512mb default.

Yes, this would be very useful. I have just had to rebuild my node and downloaded Core in a day but Fulcrum has now been syncing for 2 days and is only at 83%. Access to cache settings must surely help.
