# Password prompt post install?

Just installed Umbrel on Ubuntu, I’m met with a login requesting password but no login username?  
Any password attempt I enter results in the error message " **Error** × No user registered". I was never prompted to create a user however it appears I should have been. I’ve attached a screenshot of the prompt I’m stuck at.

That is a weird error, thanks for sharing. I’ll forward this to the team.

The easiest fix in the meantime in the meantime is probably just to do another fresh install of UmbrelOS.  
You can just delete the current /umbrel directory and run `sudo curl -L https://umbrel.sh | bash` again
