# "Not running" error when I try to install any app \[VirtualBox\]

Hi! I’m running umbrelOS for the first time in a VM and when I click on “Install” button of any app, it says “Not running”! and back to “Install”.

Hey @avds, Can you upload the logs? You can get them by going to settings \> troubleshoot \> umbrelOS then click on View umbrelOS Logs.

[error] Failed to install app bitcoin: Command failed with exit code 18: docker compose --project-name umbrel --file /usr/local/lib/node\_modules/umbreld/source/modules/apps/legacy-compat/docker-compose.yml up --build --detach --remove-orphans
