# No channel Backup necessary?

Hi there, I have to migrate to a larger ssd and found the guide to do so. It says I should backup my seed phrase and my lightning channels.  
I also found the note on the guide to back up channels, that this is not necessary any more, since they are now recoverable with the seed phrase (since version 0.5).

Can you verify this (my node is on v 1)?
