# No apps on app store

Hello, I installed Umbrel on ubuntu 22.04 and nothing appears in the app store for installation. Has anyone been through this?

Hi @eloycampana, here’s the recommended solution from the [Official Umbrel Troubleshooting Guide and FAQ](https://community.umbrel.com/t/official-umbrel-troubleshooting-guide-and-faq/9873):

> If for any reason applications are not loading in your App Store, or you don’t see certain applications populating correctly (often seen in Linux installations), try these steps:

> Make sure you’re executing commands within your Umbrel root, you can run this command if necessary from your Linux root to get to ~/umbrel/

> `cd umbrel`
> 
> Unstuck your App Store:
> 
> `sudo scripts/repo update`
> 
> Then
> 
> `sudo rm repos/https---github-com-getumbrel-umbrel-apps-git/.git/index.lock`
> 
> Then
> 
> `sudo docker compose restart manager`
> 
> Then waited ~ 5 minutes, refreshed browser

sometimes the solution is to try again later.  
It seems like the github page isnt 100% reliant on new installs grabbing the apps.  
Maybe its down, maybe its being worked on but in every situation Ive seen trying again later has worked

In my case I add to activate Tor.
