# Litghning back-ups

Is there a way to backup channels like on raspiblitz, on a pendrive or on nextcloud?

In the [Guides section](http://community.umbrel.com/c/guides/14/l/top/all) of this forum, is posted [Getting started Umbrel guide](http://community.umbrel.com/t/getting-started-with-your-umbrel/3555) with a special section (to remember) about making backups of you Umbrel LN channels.

That file you can save it wherever you want.  
You can do your own rsync script if you want to save it in a separate USB memory attached to your node.
