# Lightning Node is taking too long to install (Version v0.16.4-beta)

Hi everyone,

I am trying to install **Lightning Node** , but it’s taking a long time to install. Is this normal?

Do you have an idea on average, how long it would take to install Lightning Node?

It’s more than 2 hours since I started.

PS: I already have Bitcoin Node installed for some time now.
