# LCD screen blank after fresh install

Hey @remnantal

Currently, I’m not aware of any support for the LCD in umbrelOS 1.x, but you may find [this](https://community.umbrel.com/t/the-bitcoin-machine-blank-lcd-since-umbrel-os-1/15720) community discussion useful. In particular, [this post](https://community.umbrel.com/t/the-bitcoin-machine-blank-lcd-since-umbrel-os-1/15720/2) describes a workaround you can do to get at least basic functionality from the LCD.
