# How to uninstall an app?

I’ve read the other threads about uninstall. Not finding it. Running umbrelOS 1.5

Can someone please tell me like I’m 12 y/o, how do I uninstall an app?

Hey @BarrySDCA 👋

Just right click the app and press Uninstall.  
Yes, that’s literally it. No boss fight, no side quest. 🧙‍♂️

thank you for the reply. but this is in a browser. how do you right click? should I be using another app?

If you are using Umbrel in a browser you can still right click.  
On a computer just right click with your mouse.  
On a phone or tablet simply long press the app icon.

A small menu will appear and you can tap Uninstall.

As @denny stated, right-click on the app in the browser window. It will provide many options for the application. I think the last one on the list is uninstall.
