# How to setup Antivirus for Nextcloud

Hello there.

I’ve set up my Nextcloud and would like to put the antivirus, just in case the familly upload some random nasty stuff.  
I followed the Nextcloud tuto to install the ClamAV deamon ( [Antivirus scanner — Nextcloud latest Administration Manual latest documentation](https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/admin_manual/configuration_server/antivirus_configuration.html) ) but can not let Nextcloud acces the deamon located : /usr/sbin/clamd  
There is a user “www-data” wich I guess is the nextcloud, should I give it permission to the file ? How to do ?

Anyone could set it up or have any tuto to follow ?
