# How to go back to Terminal after closing it?

I opened up the Umbrel Terminal within Advanced Settings.  
Attempted to edit a `.yml` file using `vi`, but when trying to get out of instert mode with **Esc** key, the terminal closed. Opening the terminal again shows a new one, and editing the same file yields a warning about the file being already open.

Is it possible to re-open a closed terminal? There’s already a button for closing it, could we disable Esc closing the Terminal? Looks like a breaking behavior.
