# How to connect Umbrel OS to file server

Hi all

I am looking for a way to connect Umbrel OS to a file server. My file server has a lot more space than what I have my Umbrel installed on, and I want to be able to connect Umbrel to my file server and use that as the default location for my media. Do I need to create a mount point in Umbrel and use Samba or something else?
