# How to add more liquidity to channel

I have already opened channels.  
Now need add more liquidity to channel on already opened channel  
How i can do that?

you can’t enlarge an existing channel. You have only one option. you measure a new size channel open.

In the [Guides section](http://community.umbrel.com/c/guides/14/l/top/all) are tons of links with documentation about how LN works.  
Did you tried at least these two?

As I said in the [Getting started with Umbrel node guide](http://community.umbrel.com/t/getting-started-with-your-umbrel/3555/) - it is very important to start reading about these things BEFORE doing anything else with your node. Will save you a lot of trouble.
