# Fulcrum 100% synch'ed but Sparrow can't connect

Hello,

I am running Umbrel on a Pi 5 and Fulcrum finally reached “100% Synchronized” state, however Sparrow on my laptop fails to connect. Observations:

- other then showing “100% Synchronized” the rest of the Fulcrum page remained the same
- testing the connection on Sparrow returns “Could not connect: \n\n Connection refused”
- running “sudo docker logs {fulcrum\_container\_id}” clarifies what’s going on: the last line of the output contains:

```auto
...Processed height: 885000, 99.8%...

```

- so it’s not fully synch’ed but the gui shows 100% 🤨
- I also installed mempool after seeing the “100%”, and surprisingly it shows the latest block - it’s ahead of Fulcrum. So mempool is connecting to the internet somewhere? 🤨

It’s all a bit confusing tbh. Maybe Fulcrum should not show “100%” until it really is, and the user shouldn’t be able to install mempool until Fulcrum fully synch’ed given that having an Electrum server is a requirement?
