# Does the slider in Electrs change its behavior?

In the GUI management page for Electrs, there is a slider. Slide to the left and “local network” is blue colored, and the “address” is “umbrel.local”. Slide to the right and “tor” is blue colored, and the “address” is a 62-character string ending in “.onion”.
My question is, does the slider change the behavior of the Electrs server? If I slide to the right, does this turn off the clearnet function at “umbrel.local”? If I slide to the left, does this turn off the Tor function?
Is this documented somewhere? Is there a way that I could have gotten the answer to this question other than posting on this forum?

The slider just shows you different information, but doesn’t activate-deactivate anything. You can connect to Electrs locally or using TOR either way.
AFAIK it’s not documented in Umbrel itself, but you can always check the docker-compose.yml file either on your server or on github.
