# Command line ~/umbrel/bin/lncli closechannel --force not working

After recovering my channel backup; one channel won’t close because remote node has been inactive for more than a month. The channel remained as “pending to close” so I tried to force close it using `~/umbrel/bin/lncli closechannel --force` command but this is not working. What else can I do?
