# Can't get past login screen

Umbrel is at the login screen, except there is no box to input password or anything. Just the background image. I unplugged and restarted my Pi, but back to the same screen once it rebooted. Any ideas?

I’m still having this same issue trying to log in to Umbrel .5.0 with Tor on desktop with . I can access from Tor on my phone no problem. I’ve tried on 2 different laptops using Tor - same issue. Anyone else dealing with this?

I figure out what my issue was. Somehow I had overwritten my Umbrel bookmarked TOR address, so everytime I clicked my bookmark I wasn’t going to my root Umbrel address.

Great, glad it worked. It would be great if Umbrel could recognize you’re not at the main login address and provide some notification to check it.

I had the same issue when I was using Tor browser on a new machine.  
Figured out that the security settings disallowed some JavaScript to execute.

I set the security level of the Tor browser from “Safest” to “Safer”. Now it works.
