Hey all. I’m sure you get this question a lot, but I’m not able to access Umbrel.local but i can SSH through Terminal. Is there a function through SSH that I can do to fix this issue?

Hey Sam! Try to get access via the IP address. Otherwise, if you have SSH access, you can reboot with `sudo reboot`. After that you should have access.

Hi Denny, thanks for the reply. I tried via IP address and that did not work. I just did a reboot via SSH and still cant access it with Brave or Firefox browsers. Any other possible fixes?

You can try to set Static IP:

> [@How to set a static IP for your Umbrel server](https://community.umbrel.com/t/how-to-set-a-static-ip-for-your-umbrel-server/845):
>
> I see a lot of users having issues connecting to umbrel.local and most of them are Windows users. I will try to put here some simple steps so everybody can try them. Not having access to your Umbrel doesn’t really means your Umbrel is broken. Means that the PC from where you access it can’t see it in your LAN or in the parameters you configure your LAN. So could be 4 reasons that maybe your Umbrel is not accessible: IP assigned. The IP for the Umbrel is not set fix, or was changed by your D…

Try `~/umbrel/scripts/stop && sudo reboot`. You could also try a different browser.

I figured out the issue. My external HD was full. Don’t know how that happened since its a 2TB hard drive. I had to delete everything off it and start fresh. I’m back in business.

Thank you again for your help.

I just wanted to add that if you can’t get to your node by navigating to “umbrel.local” in your browser, sometimes clearing your browser data will fix that.
