# Can´t access lnd.conf

My node is setup & running well, already opened up a bunch of nice channels.

I am trying to set a minimum channel size for those wishing to connect with.  
I understand I can do so in lnd.conf and this should be easily done for example using RTL under “Node Config”.  
However when I try to aces LND Config (using RTL) and login with my password I do receive this error message:

> Fetch Config Failed!  
> **Error Code**  
> 500  
> **Error Message**  
> Reading Config Error  
> **API URL**  
> ./api/conf/config/ln

Please see the following. I will look into the RTL error further for you, I’m not currently certain on the cause.

Thank you so much! I have changed the min & max size of accepted channels using the Advanced settings in the Node app. **Only out of curiosity** : If you find out more on the RTL error let me know.

You’ll need to update, but should be resolved for you now. Btw, it seems these settings are view-only from RTL
