# Bitcoin node stuck on not running

My Bitcoin node has been stuck on “Not Running” for several days now. I have tried re-starting and shutting down. Also Electrs has been stuck at 1% updating during this time too. I am up to date running Umbrel OS 1.4.

Maybe you updated umbrel IOS and not bitcoin core app, electrum ect?

Try this solution but adapt it with the Bitcoin Node app information.

I had a similar problem. Turned out that my Umbrel was running out of storage space. I upgraded my external hard drive, and now it is working good.
