# Best Practices for Running Umbrel on a Raspberry Pi 4?

Hey everyone,

I recently set up Umbrel on my Raspberry Pi 4 (8GB) and wanted to get some insights from the community on best practices for performance and security. So far, everything is running smoothly, but I want to optimize my setup for long-term use.

What’s the best way to manage SSD health and prevent data corruption: ??  
Are there any must-have apps or tools you recommend for enhancing the Umbrel experience: ??  
How can I improve security, especially when exposing services to the internet: ??  
Do you recommend using a UPS to prevent sudden shutdowns: ??

I would love to hear from experienced users who have been running their nodes for a while. Any tips, tweaks, or common pitfalls to avoid: ??
