# App version and installation date

It would be great if each app installed would show the date installed and the current version. Ideally the ability to update individual apps so we don’t need to waif for a full update from Umbrel

This is good idea to be able to install/update separately each app.
But I think that only for Linux versions of Umbrel could be done.
The RaspPi version I think is too “compacted” and have to be done with the OS.

It is already possible to get the app version in the App Store. Currently, apps are automatically updated on an Umbrel update. We plan for sure to allow each app to be updated separately, and separated from the “Umbrel core”, but this is not a priority right now, so I wouldn’t be able to give any ETA 😁
