# Also getting "Error: no external drive found"

In case anyone is having the same issue, what worked for me was changing the enclosure / SATA to USB adapter. Similar to this issue I suppose: [Umbrel not recognizing SSD](http://community.umbrel.com/t/umbrel-not-recognizing-ssd/2556/6).  
Not sure if the adapter/enclosure crapped out, or if it’s just not providing enough power to the SSD after updating the umbrel version.  
Ended up going with one that has an external power supply instead of having the pi attempt to power it.
