Hello, I just created my Umbrel Home Account, created my desired password with an App I use to store my passwords. It created a strong password that I dont remember and it didnt save it. So im not able to login without that password. I know, so stupid… What can I do to reset and create another account? Thanks for the help. ---

Hi Denny. Not working. There’s any way I could factory reset and create another account? I have nothing in that account. ---

Good evening denny. I’m completely ignorant about computer science. “curl -L [https://link.umbrel.com/factory-reset](https://link.umbrel.com/factory-reset) | bash” command can be used in windows or only in linux in order to reset Umbrel Home? If it can´t, how can I reset my Umbrel Home in Windows? ---

Good evening @pleyar ! 😊 Since **UmbrelOS 1.3** , there’s a built-in **Factory Reset** option. No need to run any commands. Just open the Umbrel web interface and go to: **Settings → Advanced Settings → Factory Reset** ![factory reset](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex030/uploads/getumbrel/original/2X/f/f48ba217e45c8248b9389beda10ec1b4198ec916.png) It works from any device, no terminal needed.
